Heidi Montag is disturbed over the brand new blanket of Life Style magazine: The most recent issue’s cover features Heidi along with the headline: “Heidi’s New Surgery Disaster: Horrific Scars, Botched Implants, Lumpy Liposuction, Mangled Ears… ‘I feel like Frankenstein.’”Heidi took to Twitter on Wednesday to express her disgust with the cover, saying, “Just saw the new [Life & Style] cover… I am shocked and horrified.” Montag did not elaborate on the comment any further. A number of her Twitter followers asked her to clarify what she was upset about, but she did not respond.

A quick visit to the Life & Style website seems to suggest that Heidi Montag has no real grounds for being upset. Life & Style says that the cover image and the images in the magazine were part of an exclusive photo shoot taken earlier this month. The quotes were reportedly from an interview that took place on the same date as the photo shoot.
While it is entirely possible that Heidi was misquoted, it is hard to believe that she was truly shocked by the cover. After all, she reportedly agreed to the photo shoot and interview. Unless she has some sort of memory loss, one would expect that she knew that the issue would eventually hit newsstands.
Of course, Montag may be upset that Life & Style quoted her as saying she looks “like Frankenstein.” What she may have meant to say is that she looks like Frankenstein’s monster. If the magazine had said that, though, it would be clear that the report was faulty. Montag may have had a lot of surgeries, but she is certainly not hideous or disfigured looking. So why is Heidi Montag making such a big deal about the magazine cover? Is her outrage sincere, or just another plea for attention?
