The 24-year-old reality star who is best known for undergoing a Barbie-like transformation says she's done with plastic surgery – for now. Heidi Montag, who famously had 10 plastic surgery procedures performed in one day, vows to hold off plans to go under the knife until gravity takes its toll.
"Obviously when I get a little older, I'll take it from there, but for this moment, I don't want anything to do with plastic surgery!" the former "Hills" star told Us Weekly. It may not be surprising that the busty blond is resistant to getting more work done. In December, she revealed the ugly side to plastic surgery by showing off a series of unattractive scars and uneven body parts that she was left with.
Among the permanent marks are a 2-inch-long raised blemish under her chin (from a chin reduction) two large bald spots along her hairline (from a brow lift) and a jagged scar behind her ears (from having her ears pinned back). She also sports lumpy legs and four spots on her lower back and below the buttocks (from botched liposuction), a bright-red mark inside her right nostril (from rhinoplasty), uneven breasts and a stretch mark on her chest with deep scars around her nipples (from a second boob job).
"Parts of my body definitely look worse than they did presurgery," she told Life & Style at the time. "This is not what I signed up for."Something Montag has signed up for, however, is a return to reality TV. She will appear alongside fellow reality show alums, including "The Bachelor" star Jake Pavelka and "Real Housewives of New Jersey" villainess Danielle Staub, to work on relaunching a new restaurant for VH1's "Famous Food."But even though she'll be back in front of the cameras, Montag plans to make her on-screen return a different experience from her days on MTV.
"From now on, I'm going to keep my life a little more private," she told People.com at the grand opening of Lemon Basket, the West Hollywood restaurant that is the focal point of her new show. "I think I was just doing ‘The Hills' for so long and I just needed a break [from Hollywood]. Plus, I enjoy my privacy."
Surprisingly, living a post-MTV life in privacy has been an ideal situation for the former fame-hungry reality star. "Everything's good," she told People. "I'm just kind of getting my feet back into Hollywood."
